The V.I.P. Martial Arts Academy was officially opened in 1974. Even though the facility was only 900 square feet, its membership quickly grew, requiring a larger location! V.I.P. then moved to North Babylon into a 2,400 square foot facility. While in North Babylon, the academy continued to grow and the reputation of "Black Belt Excellence" did as well. In the early years of V.I.P., much emphasis was placed on Karate tournaments. We are proud to say that numerous students became regional and national champions! In 1992, V.I.P. relocated once again to a more visible and larger location. Today the academy boasts a 6,000 square foot facility with two large rooms, accomodating a multi-class schedule! Even though the academy has needed to relocate at various times, the professionalism, caring and excellent reputation has remained constant! Students at V.I.P. train in an eclectic art, which combines various Japanese and Korean styles.
In 2003, V.I.P. Martial Arts Academy opened a second School in the Sunny State of Florida and looks forward to continued growth and success!
